Raj Krishnaswamy

Raj Krishnaswamy is an experienced professional in the field of polymers, currently serving as Vice President of Polymers R&D at CJ BIOMATERIALS, Inc. since December 2021, specializing in bio-based and biodegradable polymers. Prior to this role, Raj worked at Braskem in Innovation & Technology from May 2013 to December 2021, and at Metabolix from 2006 to April 2013 focusing on biobased and biodegradable polymers R&D. Earlier career experiences include a position in Polymer Science R&D at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company from 1997 to 2006. Raj holds degrees from Virginia Tech, the University of Kentucky, and the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi.
