Brian Straiton has extensive work experience in the retail industry. Brian began their career as a Youth Training Scheme participant at FINE FARE SUPERMARKET in 1984. Brian then worked at Somerfield as a Duty Manager from 1985 to 1987. Brian joined Botterills Convenience Stores in 1987 and held various positions including Management Trainee, Store Manager, Development & Merchandiser Coordinator, Area Manager, Operations Manager, and finally Operations Director. Brian left Botterills in 2011 to become a Regional Business Manager at SCOTMID Ltd. Brian is currently employed at CJ Lang & Son Limited, where they initially served as a Director but later advanced to the role of Independent Sales Director.
Brian Straiton attended Hamilton Grammer from 1980 to 1984, where they obtained their High School diploma. Brian later pursued further education at the Institute of Grocery Distribution from 1990 to 1991, earning a Diploma. No specific field of study was provided for either educational experience.
