Seongyong Koo

Seongyong Koo is currently serving as Vice President of Advanced Technology at CJ Logistics, a position held since October 2023. Previously, Seongyong held multiple roles at Pickit 3D from September 2017 to September 2023, including VP of Product, VP of Innovation, Senior Roboticist, and Country Director for Korea. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral researcher position at Bonn University from April 2015 to August 2017, focusing on autonomous intelligent systems, and another postdoctoral researcher role at TU München from May 2014 to March 2015, specializing in dynamic human-robot interaction for automation systems. Seongyong's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, along with a Master’s Degree in Robotics and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hanyang University.
