Giho Ro

GiHo Ro has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. GiHo started as an Assistant Manager at Samsung Electronics/Digital Solution Center in 2001, where they developed financial simulation models for the ESPN MVNO business case. GiHo then moved on to become the New Business Development & Global Alliances Manager at Samsung Electronics/Corporate Strategy from 2006 to 2009, where they developed the "Internet Connected Device Strategy" for recurring revenue generation. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as the Chairman's Office / Corporate Development / M&A Manager at Samsung Electronics/Strategy TF, performing due diligence for various companies. GiHo joined Samsung Mobile in 2011 as a Senior Manager in Patent Licensing & Dispute Management, where they played a key role in the Samsung-Apple patent litigation and the Microsoft-Samsung Patent License Agreement. In 2015, they joined Samsung Electronics / Corporate Global Legal Affairs Team as a Senior Manager, where they advised on legal dispute management in the CIS region and managed document production for US FTC's investigation. GiHo then worked at CJ Hello from 2017 to 2018 as the Director of Strategic Planning, before joining CJ Olivenetworks in 2018 as the Director of Business Development.

GiHo Ro completed a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Hanyang University from 1993 to 1999. Following this, from 1999 to 2001, GiHo Ro pursued a Master's Degree in International Finance & Business at Columbia | SIPA.
