William Oakley

Science Content Associate at CK-12 Foundation

William Oakley has had a diverse work experience. In 2008, they worked for John Murray Productions, Inc. in Oakland, CA. In 2012, they were a Supplemental Instructor for Genetics at Humboldt State University. From 2013 to 2014, they were a CIRM Bridges Fellow at Stanford University, conducting research on the potential role of the RGMb/Neogenin ligand-receptor system in the intestinal stem cell niche. Since 2014, they have been a Science Content Associate at CK-12 Foundation, where they have designed and managed quality assurance practices for interactive and traditional science products and contributed to the successful production of over 1000 interactives for STEM education and the ongoing maintenance of all science content offered on the CK-12 platform.

William Oakley's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Molecular Biology from Humboldt State University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Alameda Community Learning Center from 2004 to 2008.
