Jason Cooper MBA FRSA has a wealth of work experience in the publishing and media industry. From 2014-2019, they served as Chief Commercial and Operating Officer at Unbound.com, an innovative, award-winning literary crowdfunding platform and publisher. In 2006, they were appointed Digital and New Business Director and Rights Director of Faber and Faber, one of the world's great publishing houses. From 2002-2006, they worked as Senior Commissioning Editor for Macmillan and Picador, where they commissioned, edited and published a wide range of successful fiction, pop-culture, history and business books. In 2019, they joined ckbk as Chief Commercial and Operating Officer, working across the full range of strategic and operating activities. In 2020, they were appointed Digital Growth and Business Development Consultant at Bonnier Books UK. In 2021, they became an Associate Partner at Publishing Consultancy Group, an Affiliate Senior Associate at Maverick Publishing Specialists, a Non Executive Director at Professional Writing Academy Ltd., and a Management and Commercial Consultant at AVID. Jason is also an alumnus of Techstars.

Jason completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, with a focus on Business Administration, Strategy, and Management. Jason also holds a BA in English Language and Literature from UCL. Their secondary education was completed at Steyning Grammar School.
