Julie van Orman

Julie Van Orman, CPA, MST has a diverse and extensive work experience. Julie started their career as a Tax Manager at Deloitte in 1995, where they managed tax consulting and compliance for multiple client engagements. Julie communicated with clients regarding tax issues and supervised projects and employees to ensure quality and timeliness of work. In 2001, Julie joined ACC Capital Holdings as a Tax Compliance Manager, handling tax consulting and compliance for a privately-owned mortgage lender. Julie also spearheaded the SOX 404 implementation for the tax department. From 2007 to 2008, Julie worked as a Tax Manager at LA Fitness, collaborating with an outside CPA firm to ensure timely filing of tax returns. Currently, Julie holds the position of Vice President, Taxes at CKE Restaurants, Inc., overseeing the tax department for the company which owns over 3,000 quick-service restaurants.

Julie Van Orman, CPA, MST, holds a Master's degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University, which they completed in 1999. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from California State University, Fullerton in 1994 and an Associate of Arts degree in Business from Golden West College in 1992. In 1998, they obtained an Active California CPA License from the Board of Accountancy.
