Roger Nixon

Roger Nixon has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Roger started their career in the US Army, serving as both an Enlisted and Commissioned Officer. Following their military service, they worked as the Owner and General Manager of DefensePlacements Inc., where they were responsible for marketing and recruiting in the defense, aerospace, and homeland security sector. After that, they served as the Director of Business Development at SecureUSA, where they focused on marketing to various major commands within the Department of Defense. Nixon then transitioned to Afterburner, where they held the position of Director of Recruiting & Military Programs, overseeing a strategic military transition program. Roger later worked as the Chief Operating Officer at American Dream U, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting military professionals in their career and business development. Roger also served as the Director of Recruiting at Janus Global Operations LLC, managing commercial munitions management and demining projects. Prior to that, Nixon worked at the University of North Georgia as a Senior Cadet Admissions Officer and at MRN Contracting as a Human Resources, Recruiting & Business Development Executive. Their most recent role was at Estimating Edge, where they held positions in Training and Development as well as Sales/Business Development. Currently, Nixon is working as the VP of Business Development at CKH Group.

Roger Nixon graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Criminal Justice from the University of North Georgia. Later, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Administration from Piedmont University.
