John Sternberg

John Sternberg is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in water engineering and management. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at CKL Planning, Surveying, Engineering, and Environmental since March 2021, John also holds the position of Principal Water Engineer at Calibre since July 2017. Previously, John was General Manager for BioFiltro in New Zealand, specializing in vermibiofiltration technology for wastewater treatment from 2015 to 2017. Additional experience includes serving as Principal Engineer at Tauranga City Council, focusing on water demand management and project management from 2007 to 2014, and leadership roles at Hyro-Comp Enterprises and Bambamanzi/Conlog. John holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Natal, an MSc in Water Engineering from Wits University, and an MBA from Damelin College.
