Richard Karuschkat, CPA, currently serves as CAAS Consulting CFO at CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) since July 2023. Prior to this role, Richard held various senior positions including Corporate Director of Financial and Regulatory Reporting and Corporate Director of Accounting at Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. Richard has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, having worked as Director of Finance at The Hill at Whitemarsh Careers and as Controller at Living Branches. Earlier in the career, Richard was a Senior Associate and Health Care Industry Specialist at CliftonLarsonAllen LLP, where specialized services were provided to healthcare organizations. Richard began the professional journey with internships in accounting and finance at several firms, including Marcum LLP and Catholic Healthcare Services. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from Gwynedd Mercy University.
