Richard Stienstra

Richard Stienstra is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical and HVAC systems. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at SFP Group B.V. since January 2024 and holding a long-term position as Senior Project Engineer/Manager Engineering at CLAFIS Ingenieus since December 2014, Richard has demonstrated expertise in managing complex engineering projects across various shipbuilding companies. Previous roles include Lead Engineer at Thecla Bodewes Shipyards and ICON Yachts, and Project Engineer for Royal Huisman, where responsibilities included engineering, cost estimations, and document control for significant projects such as the Salmo 5000 series and MY Broadwater.
