Wietske Rem

Wietske Rem is a mechanical engineer with a strong background in 3D modeling, process documentation, and project work in the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries, currently employed at CLAFIS Ingenieus since January 2022. Wietske also serves as a Student Penal Member at NVAO, contributing to the quality assessment of educational tracks through critical evaluations during accreditations. Experience as a windsurfing instructor at Vinea Vakanties involves communication skills, lesson planning, and summer camp organization. Prior roles include a graduate engineering trainee at the ThermoPlastic Composites Research Center, where Wietske investigated titanium surface roughness and composite joints, and an engineering trainee at Teijin Aramid, focusing on fiber orientation in 3D composites. Wietske has held leadership roles in student organizations, enhancing collaboration and event organization. Wietske holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Twente.
