Constantin Mitocaru

Constantin Mitocaru has over 25 years of work experience in the field of software development and architecture. Constantin is currently working as a Senior Software Architect at ClaimLogiq, where they are involved in the abstraction of health record free text data and the management of longitudinal patient records using big data. Prior to this, they served as the CTO at Sytrue for nearly 10 years, leading the development of similar healthcare data abstraction and record management solutions.

Before joining Sytrue, Constantin worked at Enumerist, LLC as a Software Architect, focusing on software design and development. Constantin has also held the position of Lead Software Architect at Cerner Corporation, where they worked as a consultant for top-level medical institutions in the US, contributing to the advancements of NLP engine and the Computer Assisted Coding (CAC) solution.

Constantin's expertise in healthcare technology began at LingoLogiX, where they worked as a Lead Architect, playing a key role in the development of the CAC solution for Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, based on NLP technology designed at Mayo Clinic.

Prior to their work in the healthcare industry, Constantin started their career as a Java Developer at TAJ Technologies Inc., specializing in developing NLP solutions for data extraction from health documents while working with Mayo Clinic. Constantin also briefly worked as a Backend Web Developer at Easeweb SRL, gaining experience in web development.

Throughout their career, Constantin has exhibited strong technical skills and a deep understanding of healthcare technology, particularly in the areas of health record abstraction, longitudinal patient records, and NLP.

Constantin Mitocaru completed their high school education from Liceu l Energetic from 1989 to 1993. Constantin specialized in Energy Management and Systems Technology/Technician. Following this, they pursued their higher education at Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași from 1993 to 1998, where they obtained an Engineering degree in Computer Science.
