Darren McDowell

Darren McDowell's work experience consists of various roles in software engineering and development. Darren currently works as the Director of Software Engineering at ClaimLogiq, where they are involved in the architecture and re-writing of a health insurance payment integrity claims-based auditing platform. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Software Development at Black Box Intelligence, where they designed and implemented a social media analytics platform for the restaurant industry. Darren also worked as the Director of Information Technology at Social Strategy1, where they developed social analytics software for the retail, restaurant, and pharmaceutical industries. Additionally, they served as the Chair of Alt.Net Charleston, managing their social media presence. Earlier in their career, they were a member of the Austin .Net Users Group and worked as the Director of Information Technology at ILD Teleservices - Operator Services Division, where they developed a website application for the telecommunications industry. Darren also held roles as a Senior Manager at RollCall Business Conferencing - ILD Teleservices, a Software Developer at ILD TELECOMMUNICATIONS, INC. - Prepaid Division, and a Software Developer at Simplyhealth.

Darren McDowell obtained a Master's Degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on Entrepreneurship, from Kennesaw State University - Michael J. Coles College of Business. Darren attended this university from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, Darren McDowell earned a B.S. degree in Information Technology from Johnson & Wales University, where they studied from 1994 to 2001.
