Overall, Jason has a diverse background in insurance, with a focus on underwriting, business performance, and administration.
Jason Hurl (he/him) has a comprehensive education history. From 1994 to 1995, they completed the pre-requisites for the Faculty of Management at The University of Winnipeg. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) degree at the University of Manitoba from 1995 to 1999, specializing in Accounting and Marketing. In 2001, Jason enrolled in the Society of Certified Management Accountants of Manitoba and obtained the Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Management Accountant (CPA, CMA) designation, which they completed in 2003. Lastly, in 2016 and 2017, they attended the Canadian Securities Institute and completed the Canadian Securities Course.
