Sergei Leonov

Sergei Leonov is a co-founder of Clain, a cryptocurrency analytics platform focused on blockchain analysis software that ensures regulatory compliance and assists forensic investigators in tackling crypto-related crimes, with experience starting from October 2018. Prior to this role, Sergei served as a Global Macro Portfolio Manager and Macro Analyst at AS Cresco Väärtpaberid from October 2006 to March 2014, where quantitative rule-based investment strategies were employed and research on Baltic economies was conducted. Sergei also gained experience as an intern at EW Management Institute in May 2006, contributing to a research survey on financial reporting practices among major companies in BRIC nations and Ukraine, and worked as an Assistant Financial Controller at Fiona Shipping Ltd. from May 2003 to April 2006 by supporting the preparation of monthly management reports. Sergei holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics from Concordia International University Estonia, completed in 2005.
