Johane J. Clermont

Johane J. Clermont is an experienced architectural designer and urban planner with a diverse background in affordable development and urban design. Currently serving as Architectural Designer II at WXY since November 2024, Clermont previously held roles as Project Manager for Affordable Development at Douglaston Development and Senior Urban Designer and Planner at WXY. Academic involvement includes research and project associate positions at Columbia University, focused on housing initiatives. Clermont's career began as an Assistant City Planner and Zoning Enforcement Officer, progressing through various roles in city planning. Educational credentials include multiple degrees from Columbia University in Real Estate Development and Architecture, as well as a Master’s from Pratt Institute in City and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The College of New Jersey.
