Maya Gerstein

Maya Gerstein, MD, is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in pediatrics and innovation in healthcare. Currently serving as the Head of Innovation at Dan Innovation since January 2022 and holding multiple roles at Clalit Health Services since December 2017, including Primary Care Pediatrician and Head of Pediatric Rheumatology, Maya Gerstein also leads the Innovation Center and the pediatric ambulatory center in the Dan Petach Tiqva district. Additionally, Maya Gerstein chaired the medical innovation committee of the Dan Petach-Tikva region and completed a HealthTech Fellowship with the Israeli Society for HealthTech from May 2021 to May 2022. Previous experience includes working as a pediatrician at Sheba - Tel Ha SHomer Hospital and completing a pediatric rheumatology fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children. Maya Gerstein earned an MD degree from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev between 1998 and 2005.
