Head Of Environment - Delivery at Clancy

Hannah Leggatt has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 16 years. Hannah started their career as a Financial Data Analyst at Optima in 2005. Hannah then worked as an Environmental Co-Ordinator at Amey, focusing on the Highways Agency Area 9 highways contract.

After that, Hannah joined EM Highway Services Limited as an Environmentalist, where they worked on various environmental reporting and accounting issues. Hannah then moved to Kier Group as an Environmentalist, where they were responsible for leading and producing detailed environmental aspects for highways schemes.

Hannah joined HS2 (High Speed Two) Ltd in 2017 and held multiple roles, including Environmental Advisor, Environmental Manager/Environment Lead, Senior Environmental Manager, and Technical Project Manager. In these roles, they provided environmental guidance, ensured compliance with environmental requirements, and managed environmental impacts for various HS2 projects.

In 2023, they will start working as the Head of Environment - Delivery at Clancy.

Hannah Leggatt has a BA (Honours) degree in Environmental Studies, with an Upper Second-class Honours (2.1) distinction, which they obtained from The Open University from 2015 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed Business Studies at the Northern Sydney Institute of TAFE from 2001 to 2004, specializing in IT, Accountancy, and Business Studies. Hannah also holds a Diploma in Business from Blacktown Tafe, which they received from 2000 to 2002, focusing on Business Studies. Additionally, they studied Computer/Business Studies at Tamworth and Lichfield College from 2000 to 2001. Hannah Leggatt completed their secondary education at Torc High School from 1994 to 1999, obtaining GCSEs with a focus on History. In terms of certifications, they are a STEM Ambassador with 30 hours of engagement, obtained in the 2020/2021 period from STEM Learning. Hannah is also a member of the ICAEW and the Birmingham Sustainability Action Group, with their membership obtained in 2014 and 2011 respectively.
