Harry McKinney CM-BIM, AIA has over 30 years of work experience in the construction and architecture industry. Harry began their career at McKinney Boyd Architects in 1989, where they served as a Principal until 1998. Harry then joined Burwil Construction Co as a Senior Architect until 2007. In 2007, they joined Clancy & Theys Construction Company as a Virtual Design Construction Manager and later became the Vice President of Technology and Innovation in December 2019. Through their career, Harry has demonstrated expertise in virtual design and construction, technology innovation, and architectural design.

Harry McKinney earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech. Harry obtained their Architect License from the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation in the Commonwealth of Virginia in September 1983. In December 1983, they also acquired their NCARB certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. In September 2006, they became a designated Design-Build Professional from the Design-Build Institute of America. Harry further expanded their credentials by obtaining an Architect License from The North Carolina Board of Architecture in March 2011. Harry McKinney is also a certificate holder of Management-Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM) from AGC of America, although the specific month and year of its acquisition are not provided.
