Matt Shields

Matt Shields has a total of 4 years of work experience in the construction industry. Matt started their career as a Field Intern at APAC-Atlantic, Inc. Thompson-Arthur Division in May 2018 and worked there until July 2018. In 2019, they joined Hedrick Brothers Construction as a Field Intern, where they worked from May 2019 to July 2019.

Currently, Matt is working at Clancy & Theys Construction Company, where they started as a Field Intern in May 2020. Matt then progressed to the role of Project Engineer from January 2022 to November 2022, before being promoted to Senior Project Engineer in November 2022, a position they currently hold.

Matt Shields attended East Carolina University from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management. In addition to their degree, they also hold several certifications. In September 2022, they obtained their Remote Pilot - Part 107 UAG Drone License from the Federal Aviation Administration. In April 2019, they received a 30-hour Construction Safety and Health certification from OSHA-INSTITUTE.
