Edison Chen has had a varied career since 2016. Edison started their career at Brink's Inc as a Senior Data Reporting Analyst in 2016. In 2017, they were an IT Business Consultant at Citi and a Strategic Business Consultant at Capgemini. Edison also became an Investor at Nexo in 2017. In 2018, they became the General Manager/VP, Senior Manager, Product Strategy, and Product Manager at 5miles LLC. In 2020, they founded and became the CEO of Clapper, backed by $4M from IDG, SIG, etc. In 2022, they became an Official Member of Forbes Business Council, a Contributing Author and an Angel Investor + Advisor at The Runway. Edison also became a Director at Clapper Ventures and an Investor at ByteTrade.

Edison Chen attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2022 to 2024, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Entrepreneurship. Edison then attended The University of Texas at Dallas, where they earned a Master's degree in Information Technology management.
