Naveen Ballem

Naveen Ballem is an accomplished surgeon and angel investor with extensive experience in bariatric surgery and healthcare management. Currently serving as an angel investor for the Harvard Business School HBS Alumni Angels Association and Directly, Naveen Ballem also holds the position of Director of Bariatric Surgery at both Hunterdon Healthcare and Clara Maass Medical Center, where a focus on patient-centered care defines the approach to obesity management. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Healthcare Management from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of the West Indies. Prior roles include a Laparoscopic Surgery Fellowship at UAB School of Medicine and resident training at Harlem Hospital Center, complemented by a background in psychology and English from Boston College.
