Sam Tomes

Sam Tomes is a Senior Pricing Actuary at Clara-Pensions since August 2021, previously working as a Senior Actuarial Analyst at Just Group plc. Prior to this, they were a Consultant at Lane Clark & Peacock. Their main responsibilities include pricing new business opportunities, calculating final premiums for existing business, and calculating option factors and transfer values for members. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Bristol and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. They also hold a Certified Enterprise Risk Actuary certification.
