James Rogers, PhD, is the current Director of Program Operations at Clarametyx Biosciences, Inc.

Dr. Rogers has over 17 years of experience in leading teams supporting product development for various markets, including the U.S. Government, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries. James specializes in preclinical drug development and has a keen understanding of regulatory guidelines.

Previously, Dr. Rogers served as an Associate Director and Manager of Technical Operations at BioMotiv. In this role, they were responsible for accelerating therapeutics through preclinical drug development to value-inflection points.

Before joining BioMotiv, Dr. Rogers was a Research Leader at Battelle, where they served as Principal Investigator and Deputy Program Director. In this role, they led teams supporting product development for the U.S. Government, pharmaceutical, and biotech markets in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Rogers worked as a Senior Scientist I/Group Supervisor II/Scientist II at Geo-Centers, where they performed genomic, immunological, and biochemical analyses of chemical-induced skin inflammation and toxicity. The data they helped collect supported risk analysis to make informed decisions about the health and safety of military personnel. At Geo-Centers, Dr. Rogers was also responsible for department management and Dermal Toxicology Program management, which included study execution, budgeting, and staff supervision.

Dr. Rogers holds a PhD in Biology from The Ohio State University.

James Rogers, PhD earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences from Wright State University. Prior to that, they earned their Master of Science in Biological Sciences from Wright State University and their Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with University Honors from Wright State University.

Their manager is David V. Richards, Chief Executive Officer. They work with Charles McOsker, PhD - Chief Scientific Officer, Veronica Hall, PhD - Chief Operating Officer.
