Alexandre Ruas

Alexandre Ruas is an experienced executive leader with a robust background in operations and business strategy within the technology and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as Executive Director - COO at Claranet since September 2021, Alexandre focuses on enhancing organizational culture and driving sustainable growth while overseeing a team of Senior Directors. Prior to Claranet, Alexandre held various leadership roles at Capgemini Engineering, including Head of Operations for Portugal and the Global Engineering Center, where significant P&L responsibilities were managed. Previous positions include Sales & Operations Director at NOS SGPS and roles in business management and network engineering. Alexandre's educational qualifications include an Engineer's degree in Telecommunications and Informatics from Iscte and multiple post-graduate specializations from prestigious institutions such as INSEAD and Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics.
