Linda Perkins is an experienced academic with a robust background in education and women's studies. Currently serving as the Director of Applied Women's Studies and the Director of the Africana Studies Certificate Program at Claremont Graduate University since 2003, Linda has also held the position of Associate University Professor at Hunter College from 1993 to 2003, focusing on the Foundations of Education and Women's Studies. Prior experience includes an Associate Professor role at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, specializing in the History of Education from 1991 to 1996. Linda Perkins holds a Ph.D. in History of Higher Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Kentucky State University.
