Carla Dreux has a diverse range of work experience in the art and cultural sector. Carla started their career as a Workshop Assistant at Musée Fabre in 2019. Carla then joined Musée des Beaux-Arts - Hôtel Fayet as an Archivist and Visitor Assistant, where they were responsible for collecting and classifying exhibition materials, as well as performing general reception and administrative duties.
In 2020, Carla worked as a Content Writer for De Gruyter, where they contributed to the Art Market Dictionary by writing entries on French galleries. Carla then transitioned to Chiswick Auctions in 2021 as a Marketing Assistant, supporting various departments with marketing efforts and sales pitches.
Carla's most recent roles include working as a Visitor Assistant for English Heritage in 2022, where they provided assistance to visitors, and currently, they are working as an Art Dealer for Clarendon Fine Art.
Carla Dreux's education history begins with their completion of a Baccalauréat général degree in Littéraire at Lycée la Trinité in 2014. Carla then pursued a Diploma of Higher Education in Law at the University of Montpellier from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, Carla obtained their Bachelor's degree in Art History from Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III. Continuing their education, they attended the University of Glasgow in 2019, specializing in Antiquities Trafficking and Art Crime within the field of History of Art. Finally, in 2020, Carla Dreux enrolled in Kingston University to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Art Business, which they completed in 2021.
