Cristina Valencia

Cristina Valencia serves as the Laboratory Director and Senior Scientist at Claret Bioscience. Cristina also works as a Scientist for Astrea Forensics. Previously, Cristina was a Research Associate at the University of California, Santa Cruz, focusing on pop gen data analysis for ancient Maya samples. Additionally, Cristina has experience as a Lecturer, Teaching Fellow, Graduate Research Assistant, and Research Associate-Paleogeneticist. Cristina holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Anthropology, a Master of Arts (MA) in Anthropology, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Social and Behavioral Sciences.
