Sanyukt Sharma has a diverse work experience in software engineering. They began their career in 2007 as a Software Engineer at Infosys Technologies Ltd. After that, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at eBay in 2011. They then joined Symantec as a QA Automation Engineer from August 2011 to May 2012. Afterward, they joined Cisco as a Software Engineer II from June 2012 to September 2014, where they were responsible for designing and building applications.
In 2014, Sanyukt joined Rakuten Rewards (aka Ebates.com) as a Software Engineer, where they worked on backend frameworks and microservices. They also designed and implemented components that supported member transactions, resulting in a revenue increase. From August 2019 to March 2021, Sanyukt worked as a Senior Software Engineer - Data at Rakuten Americas. Here, they focused on building a product catalog and implemented analytics and reporting tools.
In March 2021, Sanyukt joined Okta, Inc. as a Staff Software Engineer - Data Platform. In this role, they built a real-time data ingestion, storage, and reporting platform. They also redesigned and implemented a self-serve reporting platform, reducing time-to-market for individual reports. Furthermore, they worked closely with the data science team, handling their data needs and building infrastructure for optimal ETL.
Currently, Sanyukt is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Clari from June 2023 onwards.
Sanyukt Sharma pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Software Engineering from San Jose State University between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2007, Sanyukt completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science from MediCaps Institute of Technology and Management.
