Steve Kim has a diverse work experience in the medical industry. Steve is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Mavericks Endo, Inc. which they founded in 2021. Prior to this, they co-founded Claria Medical in 2017 and is still actively involved as a board member. From 2020 to 2022, they served as a Partner at The Foundry. In 2019, they co-founded Apreo Health and held various roles including Co-Founder, Founding CTO, and Advisor until 2022. Before that, they were the VP of R&D at EBR Systems, Inc. from 2017 to 2019. Steve's earlier experiences include co-founding Miramar Labs in 2006, where they served as Chief Technology Officer until 2017, and co-founding Vibrynt in the same year. Steve worked as the VP of R&D and General Manager at Vivant Medical from 1999 to 2005. Steve started their career at Transvascular in 1996 as an R&D Project Manager and worked as an R&D Engineer / Senior R&D Engineer at AneuRx from 1993 to 1996.
Steve Kim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, which they earned from 1987 to 1992. Steve also has a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, obtained from 1992 to 1993.

Claria Medical is passionate about developing best-in-class treatments to address unmet needs in women’s healthcare. Claria is a pre-commercial medical device start-up developing minimally invasive surgical tools. Early accomplishments have resulted in a “Safer Technologies Designation” from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. In addition toprivate financing, Claria Medical has been awarded prestigious National Science Foundation and National Institute of Health grants to develop products to improve hysterectomy, myomectomy and other surgical procedures.
