Alexander Mapel

Alexander Mapel, MS, CIH, CSP, currently serves as the Occupational Health and Safety Manager for the Americas at Clariant since November 2021 and has held the role of Industrial Hygiene and Safety Manager. Prior experience includes serving as an Advanced Industrial Hygienist at Marathon Petroleum Corporation from August 2015 to November 2021, and previous positions as an Industrial Hygienist at Monsanto Company, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and Fluor Hanford. Additionally, Alexander Mapel worked as an HES Professional at Marathon Oil Company. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Public Health with a concentration in Industrial Hygiene from Tulane University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety & Health from Montana Technological University.
