Andreas Werner

Andreas Werner has extensive experience in the chemicals and specialty additives industry, currently serving as Head of Application Development EMEA, Head of Innovation and Sustainability, and Head of Regional Business Line for Adsorbents at Clariant Produkte Deutschland GmbH since January 2012. Prior to this role, Andreas held the position of Vice President Sales & Marketing at Südchemie AG from January 2003 to December 2011, overseeing global sales and marketing for various sectors. Andreas also served as Product Group Manager at Süd-Chemie AG from July 2000 to December 2002, focusing on global sales and marketing activities for detergent additives. Early career experience includes a postdoctoral researcher role at Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas in 1994. Educational qualifications include a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Chemistry from Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas and a doctorate in Chemistry from Kiel University.
