Dr. Michael Schiendorfer

Dr. Michael Schiendorfer is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry and industrial operations, currently serving as the plant assistant manager at Global Amines Germany GmbH since June 2014. Prior to this role, a brief parental leave was taken in early 2014, and from June 2007 to December 2013, Dr. Schiendorfer held the position of lab manager at Basell Polyolefine GmbH, where responsibilities included overseeing a team of eight technicians, leading catalyst development for polyethylene, and implementing new analytical methods. Earlier experience at Basell Polyolefine GmbH also includes managing a laboratory with 40 personnel, as well as significant contributions to metal-organic synthesis and pilot plant operations. Dr. Schiendorfer's academic credentials include a post-doc in Organic Synthesis and a doctorate in Organic Chemistry from Bielefeld University, complemented by a diploma in Chemistry from the same institution.
