Dr Rosemarie Weber

Dr. Rosemarie Weber has diverse work experience in various industries. Dr Rosemarie started their career at Bulk Mining Explosives as an R&D Chemist, where they gained valuable experience until 2003. Dr Rosemarie then worked at Amka Products (Pty) Ltd as an R&D and technical plant support for cosmetics and household products in 2004-2005. In 2006, they were briefly the Head of Naturally Beautiful Hair Ltd. Dr. Weber joined Clariant in 2007 as a Product Manager (Sales) and subsequently worked as a Technical Manager from 2011 to 2013. Dr Rosemarie then took on the role of Innovation Black Belt from 2013 to 2016, followed by the position of Direct Spend Lead, where they played a crucial role in optimizing procurement activities. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Global Procurement Services Performance Management at Clariant.

Dr Rosemarie Weber completed their education with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1992. Dr Rosemarie then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Inorganic Chemistry from the same university, which they obtained in 1997. In 2003, Dr Weber obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Bond University. Additionally, they hold a certification of innovation black belt from TÜV SÜD, UMS.
