Ekrem Baka

Ekrem Baka has extensive work experience in various roles within the logistics, supply chain management, procurement, and marketing fields. Ekrem started their career at Hoechst AG as a trainee and later worked as a marketing coordinator for Eastern Europe. In 1997, they joined Clariant, where they held several positions, including head of customer service desk, head of procurement, head of supply chain management, head of sales and marketing, and head of regional logistics and procurement for Turkey and the Middle East. Ekrem also served as the head of procurement services in India, head of SCM BU Pigments in India, head of BU Emulsion in Turkey, and head of senior management development for the IMEA region. Most recently, they held the positions of GPO Order To Cash and head of global logistics services, as well as head of GBS global logistics operations at Clariant.

Ekrem Baka studied at Hochschule Mainz - University of Applied Sciences from 1996 to 2001, earning a Diplom Betriebswirt (FH) degree in BWL / Economics. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1995, they attended Berufschule am Obersberg in Bad Hersfeld, where they completed their Ausbildung zum IHK, earning an IHK qualification.
