Giancarlo Rossi

Giancarlo Rossi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement, supply chain management, and regulatory affairs. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Global Product Stewardship and Regulatory Affairs at Clariant since February 2018, Rossi ensures worldwide regulatory compliance and leads transformation projects focused on sustainability and operational excellence. Prior to this role, Rossi spent nearly 17 years at Philip Morris International, holding various key positions including Head of Procurement and Supply Chain and Head of Regional Demand Planning, where responsibilities encompassed supply chain design, procurement, and demand management across multiple markets. Early career experience includes roles at Marina Militare Italiana and CERN, complemented by an M.B.A. from SDA Bocconi and an Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Genova.
