Matthew G.

Matthew G. is an experienced chemist with a strong background in high-throughput research and catalyst development. Currently serving as Group Leader at Clariant since June 2015, Matthew oversees research projects focused on dehydrogenation and syn-gas chemistries, guiding team members and incorporating customer feedback into research efforts. Previous roles include Senior Research Chemist and R&D Chemist at Clariant, where responsibilities involved project leadership, advanced analytical methods development, and extensive catalyst characterization. Matthew's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Southern California and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, complemented by additional research experience and teaching roles at the University of San Francisco and other institutions.
