Oliver Hauenstein

Oliver Hauenstein is an experienced professional in the field of chemistry and product management, currently serving as the Product Owner for the GenAI App at Clariant since February 2017, where expertise lies in leveraging generative AI for innovation in R&D. Prior roles at Clariant include Application Development Manager for Coatings & Adhesives and Laboratory Manager for organophosphorus Chemistry, focusing on projects related to digital R&D and innovation in additives for plastics. Oliver holds a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Bayreuth, where research focused on developing plastics from orange peel and CO2, and possesses advanced degrees in Chemistry from The Philipp University of Marburg and international experience from Seoul National University and the University of Birmingham.
