Paulo MacHado

Paulo Machado has extensive experience in the chemical industry, currently serving as the Head of Sales for the BL Refinery in Latin America at Clariant since October 2014, where previous roles included Refinery Technical Manager and Business Development Consultant. Prior to Clariant, Paulo held the position of Business Development Manager at Dorf Ketal, focusing on the RJ area from May 2010 to March 2014. Paulo's earlier experience includes roles at Braskem as a Process Engineer and Production Manager, as well as Process Engineering Manager, and Sales Regional Manager at Dorf Ketal Chemicals (I) Pvt. Ltd. From January 1994 to December 2001, Paulo was District Manager at Nalco, specializing in business development and sales management, and began the career at Petroflex in a shift coordinator role from 1984 to 1988. Paulo holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, obtained between 1978 and 1983.
