Brian Cyr, CFA, currently serves as Vice President of Fund Investments at Claridge Inc., responsible for overseeing diverse investment programs including public bonds, equities, hedge funds, and private equity. In addition, Brian is an Advisory Committee Member for the Quebec Emerging Manager Program. Previously, Brian held the position of Managing Director for Private Markets at Samara, where a comprehensive list of competitive strategies by asset class was established. Brian also served as Managing Director for bfinance, leading Canadian operations, and Director of Institutional Client Management at Fidelity Investments, focusing on the institutional market's growth in Eastern Canada. Earlier roles include Manager of Investment Programs at Manulife and Analyst positions at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. Brian holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Université Laval and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Communications from Université Laval, along with education at Lund University.
