Don then moved on to Simon & Schuster/Viacom, where they held various roles including Business Manager, Associate Publisher, and Financial Analyst. During this time, they acquired skills in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and publishing operations.

In 1999, Don joined ThomsonReuters as a Senior Director of Finance, contributing to the company's success as a global provider of software, services, and products. Don demonstrated expertise in financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, financial operations, and accounting.
