Rick Storey, PMP

Rick Storey, PMP has extensive work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Rick is currently serving as a Senior Technical Program Manager at Clarifai, where they hold an active TS/SCI DoD clearance and is responsible for program delivery and leadership for AI/ML solutions for a portfolio of Federal, DoD, Local Government, and other public sector clients.

Prior to their current role, Rick worked at Strategic Business Systems (SBS) as a Senior Account/Program Manager from 2015 to 2022. During their tenure, they worked with business and government partners to identify and solve strategic needs in the enterprise data storage and backup industry. Rick also drove account growth for new and existing customer relationships in the federal and public sectors and provided senior leadership on a multiple-year storage-as-a-service program.

Before SBS, Rick worked at IBM in various roles. From 2013 to 2015, they served as a Global Integration Program Manager at IBM Global Technology Services, responsible for end-to-end process integration for IBM's Global Cloud Managed Services client enablement delivery organization. Rick provided leadership and best practices direction for a team of project and program managers and drove improved metrics reporting, process alignment, stakeholder communication, delivery quality, and customer satisfaction.

From 2012 to 2013, Rick served as Program Leader, Seterus PMO at IBM Global Process Services. In this role, they oversaw the Solutions Delivery Program Management Office for the Seterus mortgage servicing business unit of IBM. Rick directed a team of project and process management professionals and was responsible for driving the success of over a dozen high-priority business process enhancement and customer experience initiatives.

Earlier in their career, Rick worked at IBM Global Technology Services as a Global Consulting Executive from 2011 to 2012. Rick provided direct leadership and oversight for the delivery activities of a global team of IT professionals and senior consultants, driving business development efforts and providing thought leadership.

Rick's work experience also includes roles at Novus Consulting Group as an Account Leader, Data Storage Consulting Services, overseeing the execution of medium to large-scale storage area network initiatives, and at Capital One as a Senior Project Manager, responsible for executing medium to large-scale corporate initiatives involving production, IT, and line of business organizations.

Rick's career began in the US Army, where they served as a Company Commander, Executive Officer, and Platoon Leader from 1993 to 1998.

In addition, Rick obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from The Project Management Institute in July 2007.
