Ali J. Satvat

ALI J. SATVAT (Menlo Park) joined KKR in 2012 and is Co-Head of the Health Care industry team within KKR’s Americas Private Equity platform and Head of Health Care Strategic Growth, for which he chairs the Health Care Strategic Growth Investment Committee and the Health Care Strategic Growth Portfolio Management Committee. He currently serves on the boards of directors of AcuFocus, Arbor Pharmaceuticals, Blue Sprig Pediatrics, BridgeBio Pharma, Clarify Health Solutions, Coherus BioSciences, Eidos Therapeutics, Headlands Research, Impel NeuroPharma, Slayback Pharma and Trilogy MedWaste and has been actively involved with KKR’s investments in Ajax Health, Falcon Vision, GenesisCare, Gland Pharma, Panasonic Healthcare, PRA Health Sciences and Spirox. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Satvat was a principal with Apax Partners, where he successfully led or participated in many of its health care private equity and growth equity investments. Previously, he held various positions with Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation, Audax Group and The Blackstone Group. Mr. Satvat holds an A.B., magna cum laude, in History and Science from Harvard College and an M.B.A. in Health Care Management and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the board of directors of the Healthcare Private Equity Association.
