Hui Zhao

Hui Zhao has over 20 years of experience in the field of algorithm development and research. Currently, Zhao is working at Clario as a Principal Algorithm Developer. Prior to this role, Zhao worked at Carestream Health as an Algorithm Developer for 12 years. Before joining Carestream Health, Zhao was a Research Scientist at Riverain Medical Group/Deus Technologies, where they developed and evaluated classifiers for Chest X-ray images, as well as various algorithms for detecting anatomical structures in chest radiographs. Additionally, Zhao has experience as a Research Assistant at the Imaging Science and Information Systems Center at Georgetown University Medical Center, where they conducted research on medical image enhancement, object detection, classification, and image registration.

Hui Zhao completed their education at The Catholic University of America from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Electrical Engineering. In addition to this, they obtained several certifications from various institutions. In 2019, Hui Zhao completed the Self-Driving Cars Specialization, Deep Learning Specialization, Production Machine Learning Systems, and End-to-End Machine Learning with TensorFlow on GCP, all from Coursera. Furthermore, in 2013, they obtained a certification in Heterogeneous Parallel Programming from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign's online Coursera program.
