Ben Yeates

Ben Yeates is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in commercial and corporate law. Currently serving as Legal Counsel at Clarion Events since May 2020, Ben provides comprehensive legal services across the organization's global portfolios. Previous roles include a secondment with LOD at Clarion Events International and Executive Portfolio Manager at Wallace Real Estate. Ben also worked at Herbert Smith Freehills as a Legal Analyst and Compliance member. An earlier position was as a Contract Specialist in a secondment to Rio Tinto with AdventBalance, where contract-related legal risks were evaluated. Ben began a legal career as a Barrister's Clerk at Albert Wolff Chambers, assisting in significant criminal trials and civil pleadings. Academically, Ben holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Laws and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from Murdoch University, complemented by a high school education from Wesley College in Perth.
