Dr Elanor Warwick has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Dr Elanor'smost recent position is as a Trustee at Commonweal Housing, where they began working in 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Panel Member at the Greater Cambridge Design Review Panel starting in 2022. From 2016 to 2021, Dr Warwick held the position of Head of Strategy Policy Evidence and Research at Clarion Housing Group.
Before that, they served as the Head of Strategic Research at Affinity Sutton from 2013 to 2016. Dr Warwick also has experience as a Doctoral Research Student at King's College London, where they conducted research on the concept of defensible space in housing research, policy, and practice from 2006 to 2015.
Other notable roles in Dr Warwick's career include Lead Technologist at the Technology Strategy Board from 2011 to 2012, Head of Research at CABE from 2003 to 2011, and Research Manager at Peabody Trust from 2000 to 2003. Dr Elanor began their career as an Architect at various London local authorities from 1987 to 1999.
Dr. Elanor Warwick holds several degrees and has a diverse education history. Dr Elanor started their educational journey in 1984 at UCL, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with First Class Honours in Architecture RIBA Part 1. Dr Elanor continued their studies at UCL and completed a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Architecture RIBA Part 2 from 1988 to 1990. In 1999, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and earned a Master of Science (MSc) in City Design and social science. Lastly, from 2006 to 2015, Dr. Warwick pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geography at King's College London.
