Kathy Ellis, MBA, has a diverse range of work experience in the housing industry. Kathy began their career in 2006 at Communities & Local Government (CLG), where they managed the resettlement of vulnerable Britons back to the UK following unrest in their area. Kathy also handled parliamentary questions and correspondence related to housing mobility.

In 2010, Kathy joined Affinity Sutton as a Business Strategist, where they identified external factors that could impact the company's corporate plan. Kathy commissioned and managed research projects and facilitated effective dissemination of findings across the organization. Kathy later took on the role of Customer Insight Manager, championing the use of customer insights in decision-making and developing research projects to enhance understanding of customers.

Since 2017, Kathy has been working at Clarion Housing Group as the Group Strategy, Policy and Evidence Lead. In this role, they focus on driving evidence-based policy, service delivery, and business decisions by utilizing customer insight. Kathy is passionate about understanding customer needs and their impact on business processes, and they collaborate with various stakeholders to gather, share, and enhance market and customer insight.

Kathy Ellis, MBA, has an extensive education history spanning various fields. From 2018 to 2021, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The Open University, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, they studied Intellectual History and the History of Political Thought, earning a MA degree from the University of Sussex from 2006 to 2007. Kathy also holds a BA degree in English and History, acquired from Canterbury Christ Church University between 2000 and 2003. In addition to their formal education, Kathy has obtained a Leadership In Action Certificate from the Institute for Leadership and Management. Kathy is also a member of The Market Research Society.
