Sobia Qureshi

Sobia Qureshi has a diverse work experience spanning over 23 years. Sobia is currently the Head of Development Accounting and Reporting at Clarion Housing Group, a position they have held since March 2020. Prior to that, they were the Head of Capital & Portfolio Reporting at Genesis Housing Association from January 2017 to March 2020.

From 2009 to 2017, Sobia worked at Network Housing Group, where they held various roles including Group Capital Accountant, Project Manager, Senior Capital and Financial Accountant, and Financial Reporting Accountant. In these positions, they were responsible for financial integrity, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, consolidation of subsidiaries, group consolidation of statutory financial accounts, management accounts, and board presentations.

Before joining Network Housing Group, Sobia worked as a Business Analyst at Premier Foods Plc from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they held the role of Financial and Management Accountant at London Taxi Services Ltd from 2003 to 2005. Sobia also worked as a Financial and Management Accountant at Medici Society Ltd from 2000 to 2002 and as a Purchase Ledger Controller at Broadsystems Ltd from 1998 to 2000.

Sobia Qureshi has a degree in Accounting and Finance from BPP Business School. Sobia also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting and Finance from City. Additionally, they have obtained a certification from ACCA.
