Mark Gunderson

Mark Gunderson is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive and electronics sectors. Currently serving as Director of Engineering for Electronics at Clarios since May 2019, Gunderson has previously held several key positions at Johnson Controls, Inc., including Electronics Engineering Manager for Advanced Battery Systems and Systems Engineering Manager for Advanced xEV Battery Systems. Earlier roles include Engineering Manager at Continental Automotive Systems, where Gunderson maintained global engineering responsibility for battery electronics controls, and Engineering/Project Manager at Motorola Automotive, where significant achievements included the development of strategies for hybrid electric vehicles and advanced powertrain management systems. Gunderson holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from LeTourneau University, obtained in 1988.
